Life is all about making pit stops. (There's your motivational quote of the month, you're welcome.) I can totally see how someone decided to build a house of worship (ah yes, a church, I mean the church) there in the 10th century. Mere 11 centuries later it is still like a piece of heaven hidden from the world (let's ignore the highway that got us there).
